While it’s incredibly exciting to be able to freely travel, it’s also important that you stay safe. Life has mostly returned to pre-pandemic familiarity, but COVID-19 still remains as a possible risk. By taking some simple precautions and practising good hygiene, you and your family can enjoy your travels and stay protected during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Busy Beaver Airport Parking, we’re helping people safely travel to their destinations every single day. Here’s our top tips for staying covid safe while you travel in a Pandemic.
Research The Travel Restrictions
Before you decide to book your flights and pack your suitcase, you should research the travel restrictions of your destination. While some countries, like the U.K and the United States, are in the process of reducing COVID-19 restrictions on international travel and everyday life, some countries such as New Zealand still have strict regulations on who can enter. Make sure to check with your destination’s government website and visit the Australian Smart Traveller website to stay up to date on travel advice. If you’re travelling domestically, check your destination’s state or territory website for any entry requirements. For example, if you’re entering Western Australia then you’ll need to have a G2G Pass, be triple vaccinated, and undertake a Rapid Antigen Test within 24 hours of arrival.
